Threads are M10 x 1.5. Bolts with a reach of 60MM plus 2 or 3 M10 Washers under the head will work perfectly to pull the seal home. I would be careful to lubricate the seal (oil works) and make sure the inner lip stays in when you first start it. Using longer bolts and nuts as shown in LandJets photo is a better approach if you have them. I ended up using 75MM reach bolts and a bunch of washers.
Big THANKS to LandJet for that; great help
One more tip: tray a medium size channel lock to pull the clutch shaft seal. I had a hell of a time with this one although no problem two previous times (in newer cars). I ended up bending a bit of the lip of the seal out with a pry bar and grabbing that with the channel locks. The were turned sort of backwards so I could roll the seal our on the back of the jaws. I could not get any of my regular seal pullers in there and did not have a pinch/pry bar small enough either.
