thanks for this info. The res is divided side to side. The right side looks OK and the left side (under the cap) about half as you describe.
I see a line out that has a woven metal cover, couldn't really see a rubber part of it.
I'll get some help with a fluid fill today and see what goes.
Some shots below.
Although I'm mechanically inclined, that would be around pro audio gear and computers, not so much cars.
The last 2 shots are of a cracked hose on the engine. Is this a hose I want to think about as far as it's condition?
