any 'questionable' parts to them for inspection, and maybe replacement. Of course, being an auto means that now would be a good time to grab a 5 speed and do the conversion...
But, as much as i hate to agree with 'derf', if the motor was running really poor, then the valves are likely bent. Good news is that there are plenty of heads around in servicable condition ( i have a couple i would part with), and the pistons are rarely hurt in that situation. Let me know if you end up needing a head, i drive to Seattle monthly, and do my best to help fellow Saaber's (especially those that DIY!).
