all i can say is i run out of gears, it takes my 88 spg around 8 sec to get from 0 to 60 mph with 1st and second gear taking the longest (shifting), im not out to drop the hammer in 2ed and blow my pinion)
at 60 to 120 the car will cover that mph with-in 5 sec
the motor has plenty of power at 120, maintaining 120 the boost tac. returns to the same position as if the car was maintaining 80mph showing how much stress the motor is under, (i.e. if the boost tac. showed i needed to remain under boost to maintain 120 the it would show there wasn't much power left to the motor)
if i had a 6th gear to shift into at 120 im sure the car could get to 150 before that gear ran out at which time the car would need a 7th gear.
but there is no such transmission out there so im stuck with playing with 0 to 120
however..... i do have a car in my sights that just may achieve rocket speeds as in 170+ mph
check out the pic.
2007 v6 twin turbo with 6 gears manual, now thats a beast.. what is it you ask the saab aero. :)
oh and 1 more thing, i purchased swedish dynamics apc,30 lb's, and 3.0
currently running the stock injectors,.. and have the boost cut off over road to achieve these stats mentioned.
problems in the transmission not the motor
