1. Can you bypass the relay at the fuse panel to see if the car runs?
2. Try squirting a little (one or two teaspoons) of gas in the intake manifold and see if the car starts. I've never actually tried this on a injected car but I do it all the time on my carburated cars and it ought to work.
3. As Cmyles indicates the fuel pump relay CAN be swapped without removing the lower dash but it is not fun. Small hands help. My hint is to carefully remove the old one without moving its orientation. Then mark the new one so you know which way the pins go into their slots. This is necessary because you won't be able to see what you are doing.
