You can install it by dropping the turn signal/wiper bracket. The T20 screws the hold the turn switch are a little fussy but doable. The buried wires Landjet is talking about are for the 4 wire plug for the cruise function. It is separate from the lights and signals so it is OK to cut it out. The new one can be plugged in without dropping the bolster but is a PITA. Since you have a 94 your cruise module may be bad anyway.
