Why bother equipping with ABS if it's always broken?!?

AHHHHH!
One of my beautiful Saabs is really pushing me to the edge. Doesn't it know how much I love it? If it keeps this up.....
So anyway, my ABS light is on. Diagnostics are impossible, as my car has a beyond rare connector that cannot use the Towsend diagnostic trick. Had to call Sweden to discover that (damn car). The wheel sensors are fine, and the accumulator is fine. I've decided to gamble on a remaned ECU and a remaned hydraulic acctuator unit. After tons of work and research, my mechanic and I think these are the best options.
Are these likely suspects? Any ideas?
Thanks.
