If the car runs OK then I suspect that you have a fuel leak at the injector rail. Make a close careful inspection (no smoking) of the seals at both ends of the rail, the injector seals, the fuel pressure regulator hoses and the fuel lines. Just look for raw gasoline on the engine, under the intake manifold after it runs for a few minutes. The return hose form the FPR to the tank (clamped to a nipple on the bottom of the FPR) is always a major suspect.
