Morning, Chris!
This BB doesn't support those [IMG] tags that are popular on other forums that are mostly based on phpBB engine. Neither it works with direct HTTP tags (<IMG>). The only way here to add an image to your new post is to put it's URL into 'Optional Image URL' field. It appears you do know what URL means, but just in case - it's a string sorta 'http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj239/mylesguitars/fender.jpg' (w/o quotation marks), where:
http - stands for protocol used to get to that very remote resource (according to standards it can also be FTP as well as others, but most probably Scott Master Patterson rejects those links with other then HTTP protocols)
:// - delimiter between protocol name and server name
i273.photobucket.com - server name; it's the remote server that hosts your picture
/albums/jj239/mylesguitars/fender.jpg - URI, local path on the remote server to your file
Most failures with image attachments that I see here on TSN are:
- when one tries to attach an image that is located on his PC (so the link looks like 'http://C://mysupadupapics//c900turbomega.jpg'). Wrong - it has to be uploaded somewhere over internet
- when one fails getting a proper URL for his pic and gets confused with web-page URL where he sees his picture and picture URL itself. E.g. 'http://example.com/c900_in_nyc.html' - note .html extention, that's wrong. Picture usually have .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png extension.
To get the proper URL for an picture do the right click and go with 'copy picture URL' in Chrome/Firefox or 'properties' (and later manually copy the proper URL from the further dialog window) in IE
- when someone, who used to deal with other BB's and work with e.g. [IMG][/IMG] tags gets back here and forgets that this BB doesn't support those features
Yo, 88!

P.S.
I'm still only in Saigon, waiting for a mission, getting softer...
Darn, I mean I'm still here waiting for that shop to get a bit free and start working on Valkyrie. So there's no news on this so far, sorry
