Total stab in the dark... was the parking brake on while it was stored? It's possible the pads rusted/fused themselves to the rotors. Perhaps jack up each wheel to make sure it rotates freely by hand? With the transmission in neutral, it you should be able to turn the front wheels by hand with the car suspended by a jack.
