so ya...How I addressed the issue was to take a low-tech approach (and what I had on-hand)...
Out came the 2-part epoxy...
I cut out squares, 12x12, of really thick vinyl material, and after I layed down a thick ring of epoxy, I set the vinyl down onto the hole. done. my goal was to not allow more water inside the cabin, not to 'fix' the hole.
Prior to this, I had wire-wheeled the hole until it was bare shiny metal, and painted them as best as possible. This is not a show car, and rust will be the end of the car's frame (engine and 5spd will surely be transplanted since it ROCKS).
These holes are fuct because if you look underneath, they are in the middle of a body weld...already prone to rusting and corroding...
If you follow that line all the way to the trunk area, that area sux too, as my trunk has rot at those weld-joints as well.
