The two adjustments are the throttle pressure cable (people call that the "kickdown" cable) and the gear selector cable. Moving a transmission from one car to another requires that both be carefully re-adjusted. Failure to adjust the selector cable after such a transmission swap invites destruction of the planetary gears in short order. (Fact not theory. Saw it happen several times.) Consult your manual for the procedures or some one here may post them for you.
