uh, you shouldn't need to pull the turbo off the exhaust manifold to R&R the drain pipe, and you are unlikely to break the screws that mount the drain to the turbo. Yes, you want to have both the o-ring and the paper gasket for the turbo end.
Not sure which studs you are talking about, the bolts that mount the turbo to the exhaust manifold, are bigger, 10x1.5 grade 10 i think. There are 8x1.25 studs for the downpipe to the turbo elbow, and turbo elbow to turbo exhaust housing, and yes, those should be the same hardware as the exhaust manifold-to-head hardware, but lengths vary. The proper locknuts are 12mm wrench and the style of locknut that has a slit parallel to the threads with a slight crimp.
it's been a while since i've looked at a stock c900, sorry if details aren't there.
