It sure sounds like you've got a leak at both ends of the hose. Don't feel bad...well at least not about the lower connection, which is tricky to access. Did you wrap the threads w/plumbers (teflon) tape? Cheap insurance. The top connection to the master is straight forward...the lower one to the slave is difficult. For the later, at a minimum you'll need to remove the air filter canister, the AMM & it's rubber bellows connection. Pulling out some more piping & the intercooler results in much better access. A std 13mm combo wrench can be used if you're careful - I like using a 13mm crows foot (w/wobble extension). Removing the bleeder screw will make you're life much easier. Bleeding can be done w/the crows foot, or a thin profile flex head ratcheting wrench (one of my favorite tools). The traditional (top to bottom) bleeding method has always worked for me. Be sure to "tappity tap tap" (FAST, but gentle) the pedal several times before (most important), during & after your power bleed (go to 15psi)...THIS WORKS AMAZINGLY WELL! You'll see the bubbles rising into the resivour from the master's feed tube.
