I cleaned off the wires to the main ground point in front of the engine, and also cleaned off both battery terminals. It made a difference. I started the car and the CE light went out, but then came right back on a few seconds later. I just let it idle (roughly) until it got to normal running temperature, and then the CE light went out and the car died a few seconds later. I started the car right back up and there was no CE light on. I drove it around for about 5 minutes without a problem and no CE light until I decided to punch it in 2nd (floored the pedal), and the engine cut out and almost died, and the CE light came back on also. I idled it a few more minutes and again the CE light went out. I'll do more testing tomorrow, but it looks like when I accelerate hard, it will almost die and the CE light will come back on. By the way, the up-shift light flashes anytime the CE is on (if that means anything). Could it be a fuel pressure/delivery issue? Ideas? Thanks!
