two points here:
i moved a vintage car's gearbox in my 900's trunk. the transportation was fine, but the sucker leaked tranny fluid onto my trunk's carpet/felt !!
i have to transport a full 6 cylinder engine in a few months, it will fit in the car, but i was thinking safety means having to belt the engine down. otherwise just imagine what happens if you brake suddenly at highway speeds.
so in short, it can be done, easily. but there are downsides.
ps. does anyone know how to clean the tranny fluid that's now in my trunk. i was thinking i'd bucket soap/brush it, and wet vac ? ?
thanks!
