how bad the rusted area is and how far into the structural part of the frame it goes. do a search in the archives on saf-t-cap and skandix frame repair sections. i think there are posts of people who have used them and what's involved.
the accumulator is the brake "bomb" the black cylinder on your m/c. it does not click or make noise, all it does is hold pressure for the abs system. the buzzing noise you hear is the abs pump charging that pressure. it should stop after a few seconds. if it keeps running constantly the pump will eventually burn out and have to be replaced (large dollars).
you can do a search on brake bomb or stomp test to read more about it and how to check to see if yours is ok, marginal, or outright bad. the accumulator is not difficult to replace if you need to do that, and you will find there is a gm equivilent part so you don't pay thru the nose for the saab one.
just a little more info for you to do your sleuthing with and/or let us know exactly what's going on.
did you check your shock mountings and bushing to make sure those are not worn or loose to get back to the original issue? loose shocks will also move around and clonk. since you are saying rattle more than clunk/clonk noise, your worn bushings may be a simple fix.
mark :-)
