Green,
I've taken apart quite a few of these with that kind of mileage (and higher) and it's fairly common for them to have virtually no measurable wear on the crank journals with that kind of mileage but of course it depends on how it was used and maintained. The bearings can often be replaced with new standard size ones with no machine work to the crank required. Measure the thrust then knock the bottom end apart, mic' your journals and inspect them for scratches and such and then you'll know how to proceed.
If the cylinder bores mic' good and the pistons check out (and they probably will) you may want to consider doing a very, very light hone and then fit new rings as well. With new bearings and rings you'll be good for another 188K +.
I have some new rod and main bearings (standard size) and maybe some thrust bearings too. What about a trade for your old transmission (what's wrong with it)?
