Do NOT pump the pedal while the pressure bleeder is attached and the bleed screw is open. There is no need.
You don't wait until fluid "just starts" out of the bleed nipple, you need to wait for ALL the air bubbles to pump out. If you replaced the master and/or slave, there will be quite a bit of air. You'll likely need to run at least a pint (500ml) of fluid through the system and into the catch bottle to be sure. Don't under fill the pressure bleeder, either. You don't want to run out of fluid while the pressure is still pushing it through. You'll end up with air bubbles in the master reservoir, which you'll need to simply wait out until they all come to the surface. A little extra cost for "wasted" brake fluid is better than an improperly bled hydraulic system.
