Hi, my honey and I just bought a Saab; I've wanted one for ages. I'm totally stupid about cars (anxious to learn!), but he can fix anything with a bit of info. Here's what's wrong with the car: the odometer doesn't function, the air blower works only on high, the defrost doesn't w.ork, and the seatbelts don't work automatically. As I see it, the biggest safety issues is the lack of a defrost (we live in Philadelphia, and it is getting cold and rainy). I've ordered a Bentley's so that we can troubleshoot what the cause might be, and have been poking around to try to learn the language of cars. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for sharing their knowledge - I can't wait to pootle around in the new car, esp since I've had two cars in my life - both Geo Prisms. They run great, but just are not too big on style. I'm having my midlife crisis at age 43 *smile*
