Dave,

I pulled mine off my Aero and replaced this with an after market wing produced in Australia, this unit is half the weight, well made, and exactly replicates the originals, and fits straight to the hatch and holes etc. without need to touch it. Obviously it needs painting, basically I had the wing matched to the vehicle paint and what represented the rubber done in a black which I flattened with fine wet and dry. I saved the original which has some of the same flaws as your purchase, The other Aero I had, it's new owner and Saab mechanic replaced his also. I don't believe you will find one without such flaws but no way are these worth the money you have quoted, especially when superior product is available for Aus$ 380. These old Saab mouldings including the aero package were always pretty woeful even from new.
