I used to have an ISAT, but I sold it to buy a Tech 2. The ISAT doesn't have the capability to read SRS or ABS codes on your C900. It can do that stuff on a 9000 and if it has the SDA2 update a NG900. On a C900, it can only interact with the FI system on 1990 and later cars. On the 9000 it can interact with every system. With the SDA2 update, it can also interact with every system on a NG900.
To read the SRS codes on your C900, you either need the SAAB SRS tool or a tech 2 with the 10mg software and the C900 SRS adapter cable. Reading the ABS codes requires either the SAAB ABS scan tool, or an ECU from a later car that can relay blink codes. I forget how this is done as I haven't done it in almost 10 years.
At this point the ISAT has very limited usefulness. I jumped at the chance to sell mine for $900, and picked up a tech 2 for $2000. ISAT is really geared towards 9000 and NG900. It can't comunicate with a 9-3 or 9-5, and it has limited functionality with a C900.
If you are going to buy an expensive tool, you want a tech 2. Not only can it do pretty much everything on a SAAB, it also is the factory tool for all GM vehicles up until 2010. Some 2011 GM cars are not compatible with the tech 2.
