87 SPG here. So the coolant hose running from the turbo to the throttle body (bent hose that goes from 1/2 to 3/8 or something, I believe) cracked and was pouring coolant out while on the highway. Upon noticing the high temp gauge I pulled over, had the car towed to a local saab indy that was close (I was visiting my parents for xmas so not anywhere near my normal saab mechanic).
Anyway he replaced the bad hose, and all is fine regarding the coolant system, but ever since leaving his shop I've been stuck in base boost. I let the indy know and of course he said "Oh that's not from us". I'm sure he believes that, but I've always thought he was kind of a hack (definitely not the most knowledgeable of saab indys).
So I'm pretty sure he fumbled something up while in there, since it was boosting just to the end of the yellow beforehand. Is it possible something happened when the engine overheated instead, though? Looking for any help to diagnose and correct the issue! Thanks guys.
Mike
