In order to replace that hose, they obviously had to disassemble a few things. I'd first check to make sure it was all put back together properly. Be sure that the electrical connector was reconnected to the top of the APC solenoid (brown and white gizmo on the upper crossmember with three hoses connected to it). Also check to be sure that they didn't mangle the wires to that, disrupting the signal. Be sure they connected the hoses back to it properly. IIRC; driver's side barb has a hose going to a barb on the black plastic intake tube; center barb has a hose going to a barb on the turbo compressor housing; passenger's side barb has a hose that goes to the wastegate canister. Next check to see that the wastegate actuator arm is still connected to the gate valve arm on the bottom side of the turbo. They shouldn't have had to touch that, but hey, you never know. Also check to see that the vacuum line from the throttle body (or intake manifold) to the bypass valve was reconnected. The bypass valve is right down below the hose that broke, snugged right against the engine. It is a royal PITA to connect that vac line once the bypass valve is installed in place. If I had to guess, I'd say that's where your problem is.
