One thing that really helped my system was to seal the evaporator on the firewall so the hot engine air would not enter into the chamber and mix with the cold evaporator. Flushing out the lines was also important in addition to keeping that lower pocket clear. I thought I had the lines clear, and then twice got condensed water in the cabin. Turns out you could have grown potatoes in the lower part of the line near the drain exit in the wheelwell. I "milked" it like a cow, and the amount of crap I got out was amazing. Water would just barely pass through, so it appeared that it was draining, and then during really humid days, it would back up, and the drain into the cabin leaking past the rubber elbow inside....the additional humidity in the cabin added some discomfort, but once it was cleared out, and draining properly, I have to turn down the AC on the hottest days after running the car for a short period of time.
