Used Dynaliner Posted by Shaun [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Re: Rubber/Foam Floor Cover, Curt, Sun, 1 May 2011 07:02:05 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Thanks for all of the input. I went to Summit Racing here in GA., and bought 2 sheets of 1/2" Dynaliner material Jon suggested. Both sheets did the front and rear passenger areas, and with the scraps, I was able to pretty much go all the way back. Of note was the nasty fiberglass heat barrier for the catlytic converter (at least that's what I think it was since it seemed to be placed right above cat). Anyway, I pulled that rotting mess out, cleaned up the area, and used ThermoTec heat shield material in place of the fiberglass. I used enough to tuck under the Dynaliner. Now I can start putting everything back together....strange how all of this started by trying to put a windshield in... My wife asked what this would lead to next and I told her nothing since I had reached the car body....short of doing a restoration like Jon, I think I'll try to get it on the road.
