Maybe its the tires I put on (Michelin Exhalto), but the increased width / stance that the 9000 rims give to the 900 (mine is a 92 900T, stock road height) gives the stability of a true race car...just about GLUED to the road, turning is sharper, stiffer, and at high speed (~90mph), its just a dream tracking down the highway. also great at 65 compared to my winter Hakka 15inchers. But I do love those tires and steelies too.
I've got 2056-55-16s on mine, but since its stock road height, not SPG, I have very little rub in the back, and when I do, its hitting a huge bump at 20+mph. I put my trailer on regularly with these tires/rims without concern. Trailer balance is key, however. I have yet to get 4 adults in the car with these rims. But I am also thinking about the air-bags for the springs, and stiffer springs for the back, too.
