A press is probably a good idea--good suggestion. You may even be able to rig something up without taking it out of the car. There should be a zipper along the roof line inside the car that allows you to lay the rear curtain down along the top of the rear seat. It'll likely be awkward, but may be easier than removing the curtain from the car.
