H-type conversion

I have a 1980 5dr Saab 900 Turbo that has been converted to an 83 H-type motor. I'm pretty sure I switched over all the necessary wires but I'm still having a running problem. When I'm driving itll be running fine and then the fuel pump starts making a loud buzzing (at least loud enough to hear clearly from the drivers seat) and then the car starts jerking more or less like its missing or something. When I turn off my car and turn it back on it goes away for a while. It seems to happen more when its hot outside and it often times doesnt like to start in hotter weather if its been sitting for a while. My car hardly ever does it in the winter time just when its warmer. I cant seem to find the problem though. I know there is some shorts somewhere in my car as my interior lighting fuse keeps blowing and some of warning lights in the dash come on and off when theres no reason for it to. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem is? Could one of those shorts be responsible or could it be something else entirely? Thanks for the help.
