I have an LED on my dashboard that is hooked up to ( if I remember correctly ) pin # 19 of the apc . it appears to work correctly . if I give the knock sensor bolt a good tap with something hard like a socket extension and the ignition is on , but engine not running , my light on the dash blinks and the apc solenoid clacks a couple of times or chatters depending on how hard I hit it . car is an 88 spg with boost set at or just below specified boost level on calibrated gauge . is it alright if the light sometimes blinks once or twice under full boost or should it never come on ? is this the apc working normally at full boost and not harmful to the engine ? I always use 93 octane and the correct ignition components unless ngk irridiums are not as appropriate as the bcp7es plugs for good boost . I have seen a couple of people on this sight write that ngk bcp7es are better than bcpr7eix for good boost . thanks in advance for answers .
