do not need. you will want to get the b pillar covers off of a manual belt car to finish the look though.
your new belts will bolt right into the hole already there in the b pillar, so that is not a safety issue, just a looks issue.
HOWEVER, those b pillar covers DO support the headliner in the middle of the car so it doesnt't sag down at edges. it won't fall down on you, but it won't be supported halfway along either. For that reason you may want to put the newer covers in.
i'm going to a junk yard today to pull a headliner, if you don't have those b pillar covers would you like me to get them for you? the car is a 93 i believe. they do tend to try and rip people off for pricing though, so if you do want them what would be an acceptable price for you?
