way. they only had a C900 vert last time i was there. there is a yard next to them that is a pull-for-you yard, and i did see one saab over the fence.
the local yard here was a pick-n-pull, but now it's changed to a pull-for-you. i'm talking the weekend counter guy into letting me pull the headliner myself because they're paid to do things quick and dirty, whereas i'm willing to do it slow and clean.
i feel a little sad, it's a beryl green hatch with no body damage i can see, other than a rust spot under the drivers quarter window and some rusting on front edge of hood. the yard told me it was running and driving fine when it came in. it was a clunker type drop off apparently. now, whether that's true or not i don't know, it now has a car sitting on it's roof and no wheels.
unfortunately, this yard thinks that all parts are gold plated, and wants top dollar for everything. he'd sell me the hood and front cross member and radiator, headlights, grill, and corner lights for nearly the same price for the whole car, about $650 if i remember.
if i had a place to keep a "junker" i would buy the whole thing if i could come up with the money, just for parts value.
mark :-)
