True, an faulty hall sensor would result in a no-start condition.
However, if the hall sensor was at fault, there would be no signal to the ignition amp, and downstream of that, no signal to the ECU. My SPG had signal to the ECU. More conclusively, a faulty hall sensor would result in no spark at the plugs. The car has always had spark.
So I'm sticking with my story that in my car's situation its the bad connection between main relay and fuel pump relay via the turbo pressure switch that's the fault.
... until I find elsewise. Meanwhile car "always" starts and runs beautifully.
