hey guys, couple things.
I agree w/ radioflyer, The fuel pump relay can do some weird no-start conditions. Try a different one.
Also on the strange tip, just try swapping the dist. cap. Trust me, it can happen!
I would say on the cold start inj. Make sure the black? small wire is connected on the starter on the back of it. If that wire falls off, which it does sometimes, the cold start inj. won't work.
The fuse boxes are problematic, but can be easily reconditioned. I found that the connections on the bottom of it were the biggest problem area. A good, systematic cleaning, or swap to a better looking fusebox is necessary to fortify it. I understand that corrosion can develop between the riveted metal connections of the box too, though I've never come across this myself.
good luck!
