There's no real trick for the clutch slave bolts just the more you do the better you get at it. Some guys replace them with hex head bolts so they can use a common socket and ratchet next time. I can whip them out with an allen wrench pretty quickly having done it a million times.
If you can't drive the taper pin out of the shift coupling then you can loosen the pinch bolt and disconnect it there. That necessitates re-adjusting upon re-assembly but you really should do that anyway.
Of course you take off the belts and swing the alternator over as far as it will go to get at that bottom bolt. Once the AC bracket is up and out cut the bottom bolt hole as a slot so that the bolt only has to be loosened and not removed to lift off the bracket, for future enjoyment.
I've worked on every kind of car made and they all have features that are difficult (seemingly impossible) to deal with. Eventually we just get used to cramming out hands and arms into places that they barely fit and manipulating fasteners and tools by feel. The C900 Saab is actually one of the more "mechanic friendly" cars I've dealt with over the years.
