1.) Define "feels really bad". What specifically is it doing? Also, if you could be more specific about what you mean by "heating control light dimmer". Do you mean the heated seat switch, or the HVAC heating control knob. The seat heater switch is just below the headlight switch, and the HVAC switches are below the radio. Neither switch is related to the dash lights not working. You can access the dash illumination through the left dash speaker grill. It is held on with two small torx screws at the front edge. Take them out and you can lift the speaker grill off to access the dash lighting (2 bulbs). The dash bulbs are in fittings that just twist in to the back of the gauge console. They seat against a copper foil circuit board. Sometimes the copper gets worn and the lights lose current continuity. If you're lucky, it will be a bad bulb instead.
2.) Heated seats could be a bad switch, or a bad seat thermostat, or a busted heating element in the seat (the most likely). Or maybe it's just unplugged below the seat.
As far as the rest, I'd probably have to look at the car to diagnose it correctly, could be electrical, could be mechanical. As noted by another poster, the master ground connection at the crossmember beneath the right radiator fan could be the problem.
