My boys have had good luck with just welding a piece of flat metal neatly into place, after cutting/grinding out the bad stuff. Then it gets primed & painted and put back together. They eliminates one contour, but the door is saved. I still need to paint the rivet-heads black. They did my 1990 Turbo Convertible also. They're not welders, but we have a couple MIG welders, and they went to class for MIG welding. They also did both control arm (Skandix USA parts) areas on this car - came out great. Vern
