I've spent the last year plus (took some time off) to pull the engine and ecu wiring harnesses and rebuild them. Fortunately I had the area and time to it. This means the fuse box and engine harness were removed from the car and each connector cleaned up or chopped out and replaced. I found a complete 88 wiring harness from English-Swedish salvage in Alpharetta, GA. Although the 88 harness is not a direct replacement, I used it as a donor harness for that part of my harness that was bad. Was also a good opportunity to clean up all the ground wiring, debris and dirt and nuts and bolts that found their way into the those spaces you can't see. I prefer the bullnose look of the 85, knowing that the later models have improvements. If you had the time and space, it would be a great project.
