A number of years ago there was a post about using Wurth rubber care. It was from a Saab repair shop. They said they started using Wurth rubber care as a routine service when a customers car came in. After a while they noticed their customer's dashes weren't cracking anymore.
A somewhat unrelated story: I recently bought a 93 C900 with 273K miles. The seller had a stack of receipts from a Saab indie. The seller was muttering that the guy was expensive. When I looked the car over I noticed the door hinges were light and smooth. The pivots pins weren't starting to pop out like almost all the other Saabs I've had. You could see a lot of oily dirt around the hinge pins. Looked to me like the indie knew about routinely oiling the pins as per the factory service recommendations. A service don't you get at the neighborhood mechanic.
