I thought the universal sodium valves were coincident with the introduction of a motor - either the B201 or the B202. I'm pretty sure B20s never get the sodium-filled valves.
I think I'm with BobD - I don't think I would try and boost a non-turbo b-motor. I don't think the head would be happy, and I'd not be confident the fuel system could keep up. Obviously you could swap in a fuel distributor and injectors from a turbo but actually finding functional B20T parts is *hard* - CIS, turbos, exhaust manifolds and turbo plumbing and all that is not very common! With that much cost and effort, why not just swap the entire motor? Either a B201T or a B202T would be dandy.
