it may be my bad - I didn't dig too much into this. Probably, they aren't 100% copper, but some copper alloy.
Btw, all those sputniks utilize stainless hydraulic tubes (and in those sputnik systems there can be more pressures slightly bigger, then those peak 250 bar in our brakes). But things have changed since wild '90s and now a real space-grade stainless hydraulic tube will cost you a leg and an arm (+ 0.5 kidney).
