How did you seal the point where the metal coolant line exits the hosee and goes back to the heater hose?
There's not much vacuum that the large PCV hose undergoes because it's connected to the turbo inlet duct, where the pressure ls a bit less than atmospheric. If it were directly connected to the intake manifold, it definitely would.
I agree on the issue of oil. I figure that, over the next 5 years, I'll end up changing those few inches of heater hose a few times.
