I was wondering if anyone had a similar issue. I noticed a few weeks ago that my hydraulic fluid was reservoir was getting low I was going to top it off but I went out of town for about 9 days. When I got back the fluid had drained and the clutch pedal was inoperable, Break fluid was fine.
I used a pressure bleeder to get the car drivable to a garage where I thought I would be swapping out the slave. I drove the car to the garage where it has sat for the last 4 days. The hydraulic reservoir is still full, and the clutch in working fine.
I know that the orings can get twisted and that can cause a leak. My question is can they untwist. If so is it just a matter of time before it twists again? Could the pressure bleeding have corrected a twist or cleared some debris causing the leak?
The current slave is a self rebuild that I installed less than a year ago. The car is a 94 turbo convertible with 130K.
I know it could be anything just want to get some feedback as I don't really feel like replacing the slave if I don't have to.
Thanks,
Ron
