Idle Headache

My 1990 900 Turbo (5 speed) has a real high idle, 2,000 rpm and if I'm lucky 1,500 rpm.
I've swapped AMM, AIC, 3 computers, TPS, removed and cleaned throttle body and checked vacuum lines and nothing there. The only thing left is O2 sensor. Would O2 sensor mess with idle? I noticed when I load the car electricly it goes down a hair. I put lights on, fan on high, foglights, radio and it simmers - 250 rpms. I cleaned grounds but no change. The weird thing I've noticed is if I unplug AMM for 5 minutes and plug back in it seems to idle a lot better, 1,000 rpm. I just finished installing new harmonic balencer and oil pump seal but can't figure if something effected idle from that. What do you think?
