Get the es plugs, they were the top [plug for many many years, running at 7$ a plug until eix knocked them out of the top spot. Just know if your going to run the es they will boost great for the first 4 to 6000 miles then 6 to 10000 miles they will misfire rarely in the lean air mix from 10 to 25000 (spent plug life) the boost will be very spotty as in, boosting hard this stop lite and base boosting next when the performance knocks off considerably don't go changing the rotor or dist cap, Fuel filter looking for the reason why the cars stuck at base boost. Just remember you equip the es plugs.

The iridium plugs will boost from day one all the way to 25,000 when its spent maybe a miss-fire once very rarely.

There's no need to buy the best all the time, but as for the bio-cords their a must, I tried every plug wire one could find but in the end nothing has the longevity as the bio-cords. Don't throw away your old set because 1 of the new bio-cord wires could be bad out of the box, on different occasions when I replaced the wires, one tune up I did had the new cylinder #2 bio-cord wire bad and some time after I bought another set for a tune up and that set had the main ignition wire (coil to diss.) bad right out of the box. The new wires will run the car no problem but while trying to boost the bad wire will miss fire keeping you in base boost.

Just a little fyi the plugs for a 9-5 Saab is 17$ a plug but they last 50 to 60,000 miles and don't miss-fire being the lean/air is now non existent in the modern-day smart car being the computer compensates fuel usage with every cubic inch of air entering the motor.
