...then you can go to about any glass shop and the marvelously skilled guys there will freehand cut a piece of mirror glass that you would think was factory it will fit so well. Then they'll slap some silicone sealer on the back of it, tape it into position with some blocks of foam or folded corrugated cardboard to keep the pressure on it, and a good idea is to put a little sedge of cardboard under the bottom and along side so it doesn't slide out of position. You can drive it home and remove the tape in the morning, or, in winter, maybe wait a day or two. Total cost used to be under $10 but with inflation I better say maybe $15.
I think any mirror glass from about any year 900 will fit and if I recall correctly 9000s too. Some have indicators on the glass that they have the heated mirrors, some don't.
One day in a junkyard I looked down at my feet and there in the sand next to a 9000 lay the mirror glass from that car - - came unglued only after it came to its final resting place. So I bought it for next to nothing. Next 9000 I bought needed that very mirror.
You may find one loose at a junkyard, that you can pry the rest of the way, or there's a trick to removing both glass and its backing while leaving mirror housing on car. Do a search on here. Or you can take the entire mirror works.
