As you might have read, I'm mid stream in a 5 speed conversion to my 91 Convert.
Got the 87 donor engine/trans on the bench out of car. Last time I wrestled a clutch/slave out of position (dead slave, couldn't pump up) it was a bugger.
What is the preferred method? All parts will be trashed except the flywheel, that I will resurface for the 91. Sawzall the slave in half and drive it off the clutch fingers?
I'm sure it's been done hundreds of times here....please advise.
