But that's crazy.
It's an example of how crazy complex some--or even many--modern cars are.
I first read about the dual clutch trannies in some European car magazine coming back from Germany a few years ago. The first thing I thought was "this is gonna be expensive to fix when it breaks."
I test drove a Porsche Boxster S and a 911 Carrera 4 last weekend, both of which had double clutch trannies. The were great fun to paddle shift or just drive. But all the electronics make me wonder just how long they'll last.
