I bought a total of four rebuilt A/C Compressors from a company called A-AirOnline for $275 each. One in 2010 and two in 2011, I installed them in three different classic 900s. One of them failed/locked up and I replaced it in 2012. They came with a warranty that had expired by the time the one failed, even though I only put a few hundred miles on that car. I replaced the receiver/dryer, expansion valve, all hoses and all o-rings on each application. In 2010, I purchased a vacuum pump and A/C Gauges from Amazon thru ToolTopia for about $200. I have purchased multiple R134A Charging Kits for about $50 each at Advance Auto Parts. In 2012 I purchased a case (12 cans) of R134A Freon for just under $200. (I will buy a 30# cylinder next time I need Freon) I currently have the following cars with working A/C, an 86 SPG, an 89 SPG, a 91 900 Turbo Convertible and a 93 Turbo Convertible.
Good luck,
Jon
