missed it. The air intake on the hood has that flapper valve. There is a drain hose in the bottom that allows water to flow down and out of a rubber end in the R wheel well area. If this drain is clogged as it often becomes from leaves , dirt, pine needles etc, the pan will fill up and flow into cabin area. This is especially true if car is parked in nose up position. I get a flexible shaft similar to mechanical fingers. They can be found with magnets on the end . I cut off the magnet, use it for one of my special tools. I then flood the air intake area, and run the flex tube up the rubber out let. There are two in the same area. I keep flushing the area until it drains clear and quickly. I use the same flex shaft in all the drain hoses. Helps prevent rust. Saves wet carpets and floor rust if that is the only problem.
